The President will chair in the Kremlin a meeting of the Presidential Council for Science and Education on new challenges and priorities in the development of science and technology in the Russian Federation.
The discussion will focus on approaches to selecting priority directions in the development of science and technology, taking into account the need to maximise the contribution of science and technology in the comprehensive development of the country at the present stage.
On the same day, Vladimir Putin will hold a regular meeting with Government members. The meeting participants will consider the availability of social services, including in remote and rural areas.
