The agenda will cover key tasks for Russia’s leading research and education sector organisations in drafting and implementing a long-term research and development strategy.
The President gave the instruction to draft this strategy in June 2015, following the Council’s last meeting. Work continues on the document at present and should be finished by September this year.
The upcoming meeting will examine mechanisms for implementing the strategy, and ways to make greater use of the potential of Russia’s most successful research organisations in terms of citations, relevance of research, and work on high-tech projects.
