Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation on Establishing an International Competence Centre for Mining-Engineering Education under the auspices of UNESCO in St Petersburg, Russia.
The Agreement was signed in Paris on March 7, 2018.
The Agreement provides for the establishment of the International Competence Centre for Mining-Engineering Education based at St Petersburg Mining University.
The Agreement sets out the conditions of cooperation between the Government of the Russian Federation and UNESCO, and defines the Centre’s legal status, tasks and functions.
