Vladimir Putin congratulated Russian school children Ivan Bakharev, Aidar Ibragimov, Matvei Isupov, Danil Sibgatullin , Maxim Turevsky and Andrei Shevtsov. As members of the Russian team, they took part in the 62nd International Mathematics Contest.
The message reads, in part:
“Your team success is an important, well-deserved reward for your years of persistent hard work and the talent and selfless devotion of your mentors. Of course, it is special that such a great, inspiring victory took place before the International Congress of Mathematicians, which will be held in St Petersburg next year”.
