Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On the Russian Federation Presidential Grant for Postgraduates and Adjuncts Engaged in Research for the Implementation of Scientific and Technological Development Priorities of the Russian Federation.
To enhance state support for postgraduates and adjuncts engaged in research for the implementation of the Russian Federation scientific and technological development priorities, the President resolved to institute the Russian Federation Presidential Grant for postgraduates and adjuncts that are full-time students of Russian education organisations and are engaged in research with a view to implementing the Russian Federation scientific and technological development priorities, which are set forth in Russia’s scientific and technological development strategy.
The Executive Order determines the size of the grant, as well as the procedure and terms for its awarding. The overall number of individuals to receive the Russian Federation Presidential Grant shall not exceed 2,000 a year.
The relevant instructions have been given to the Government of the Russian Federation.
