Dmitry Medvedev signed a federal law amending the Federal Law On the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies (RUSNANO) and the Federal Law On State Atomic Energy Corporation (Rosatom).
The law improves the legal regulation of particular aspects of the RUSNANO’s and Rosatom’s activities.
It also gives RUSNANO the right to raise funds through borrowings, including by issuing bonds, and sets the procedures for making decisions on borrowing.
The law also gives Rosatom the right to issue guarantees on behalf of third parties, which include Rosatom’s institutions, joint-stock companies, whose shares it holds, their subsidiary and dependent firms, and federal state unitary enterprises subordinate to Rosatom.
