Dmitry Medvedev signed the Federal Law on Amending Article 10 of the Federal Law on Protecting the Rights of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs in the Process of State or Municipal Control (Supervision).
The law aims to improve procedures regulating inspections of business entities by supervisory authorities of state or municipal control.
The amendment now requires supervisory authorities to coordinate all unscheduled inspections or audits with prosecution authorities in respect of all business entities, not just small and medium-sized businesses, as before.
