Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Armenia on Avoiding Double Taxation on Income and Property of December 28, 1996 and its Protocol of December 28, 1996.
The Protocol was signed in Moscow on October 24, 2011.
In particular, amendments were made with for the purpose of increasing the efficacy of tax control.
