Mr Mishustin briefed Vladimir Putin on the Service’s performance results for January-May 2014.
Mr Mishustin said that revenues from profit tax were up by 14.8 for the five-month period, while revenues from severance tax increased by 18 percent, and from VAT – up by 23.4 percent.
Over the January-May period, the consolidated budget received 5.2 trillion rubles [more than $151 billion] in tax revenue, which is a 13.9-percent increase on the same period in 2013, and the federal budget received 2.6 trillion rubles, which is 20.2 percent higher than the year-on-year figure.
