Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to current and former workers of the Russian tax authorities on their professional holiday.
The message reads, in part:
“For years the staff of the Russian Federal Taxation Service (FTS) has been making a sizable contribution to enhancing the unified tax system of the country, improving its efficiency and openness, and upgrading legislation in the field.
The FTS is invariably committed to a broad introduction of modern innovative technologies and the world’s best practices. It improves administrative procedures with a view to the needs of citizens, business, enterprises and companies.
I am confident that you will continue fulfilling the set tasks, since the results of your work and responsible policies directly affect sustainable replenishment of the budgets at all levels, the implementation of large-scale programmes in healthcare, science and education, the establishment of a favourable business and investment climate, as well as the overall strengthening of the country’s economic security.”
