Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Protection of Workers’ Claims (Employer’s Insolvency) Convention (ILO Convention 173).
The Protection of Workers’ Claims (Employer’s Insolvency) Convention was adopted by the International Labour Organisation’s General Conference at its 79th session in Geneva on June 23, 1992.
The Federal Law states that Russia commits itself to the obligations ensuing from Part II of the Convention, providing for protection of workers’ claims by means of a privilege.
