The President approved a list of instructions following a teleconference with WorldSkills participants on November 1, 2019.
The President instructed the Government of the Russian Federation to establish an autonomous non-profit organisation for the development of WorldSkills Russia under the Union “Agency for Development of Professional Communities and Skilled Workers called Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia).”
The organisation is to help people choose a profession; create a new industrial culture in order to raise labour productivity; build social lifts that ensure professional and career growth for employees, develop professional and expert communities, upgrade qualifications of personnel, including engineering and vocational professions; introduce new, advanced professions and skills, including digital skills; represent Russia in WorldSkills International; train the Russian national team in professional skills; and promote advanced personnel training standards.
The Government was also instructed to provide federal budget funding for the new organisation.
