Vladimir Putin had a working meeting with Novosibirsk Region Governor Vladimir Gorodetsky to discuss the socioeconomic situation in the region.
The Governor briefed the President on the development of a programme to re-industrialise the economy of Novosibirsk Region with participation of the Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences along with representatives of business and industry. The Governor said thirty high-tech projects have already been developed based on existing research. Many of them have already been reviewed and approved by the Industry Ministry.
