Vladimir Putin approved a list of instructions on the implementation by federal and regional executive bodies of the Russian President’s decisions and other regulatory acts aimed at better monitoring the efficiency of agricultural land use.
The Government of the Russian Federation has been instructed to endorse a plan of measures (roadmap) on implementing the Guidelines of Government Policy on Using the Land Fund of the Russian Federation in 2012–2020 with a view to upgrading state and municipal oversight of the targeted and rational use of agricultural lands.
To ensure the preservation and recovery of soil fertility of agricultural lands the Government has been instructed to speed up the development of soil protection regulations.
The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation has been instructed to carry out a package of measures on monitoring and supervising the implementation of land policy by executive and local government bodies.
