Vladimir Putin approved a list of instructions for livestock waste management.
The Government was instructed to draft proposals to stimulate the use of advanced livestock waste management technology by agricultural producers.
Also, the Government was instructed to introduce amendments to legislation to toughen administrative liability for breaching the law on environmental impact assessment and non-compliance with environmental, sanitary and epidemiological requirements for livestock waste management.
The Prosecutor General’s Office was instructed to regularly verify compliance with the laws on industrial and consumer waste disposal, in particular, where it concerns livestock waste disposal, and the law on environmental impact assessment in the said area.
