The President approved a list of instructions following the launch of a turkey breeding centre in the Tyumen Region on November 21, 2022.
The Government of the Russian Federation has been instructed to take measures to revise the Strategy for the Development of Agriculture and the Fisheries Industry until 2030 in order to ensure that agricultural production grows at an average annual rate of at least 3 percent.
The Government was also instructed to come up with proposals for drafting an integrated programme for developing sheep-breeding with a focus on industrial meat production in the North Caucasus Federal District until 2030 and for purchasing turkey meat to meet the requirements at the federal and municipal levels.
