Vladimir Putin sent greetings to delegates, organisers and guests of the 34th Congress of the Association of Peasant Farms and Agricultural Cooperatives of Russia (AKKOR).
The message reads, in part:
“With every passing year, the Russian farmers’ movement continues to expand its potential, to score impressive successes in all spheres of the agro-industrial sector, to strengthen its role in facilitating the country’s food security and improving the quality of life in rural areas. You continue the wonderful traditions of hard agricultural labour with great dignity, manage natural resources thriftily and zealously, actively introduce state-of-the-art technologies and strive to turn out environmentally friendly produce.
I note with satisfaction that such significant achievements have largely been made possible by the constructive and creative efforts of AKKOR, which unites tens of thousands of agrarians in various Russian regions around common goals and tasks.”
