The Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Ivanov attended the 4th charity basketball match to support children with cerebral palsy as the coach of one of the teams. The game between the Brighter Together and Armata teams was held at the Dynamo Sports Palace in Moscow.
The sports event was organised by the A Step Together Foundation. This friendly match is part of a charity marathon aimed at raising public awareness about cerebral palsy and helping kids in need of treatment and social adaptation.
In his welcome remarks during the opening ceremony, the Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office thanked the participants, organisers and spectators for helping children suffering from cerebral palsy, stressing that Russia pays a lot of attention to children with special needs and does everything to ensure that they benefit from extensive support.
Donating to the foundation was a condition for playing in the charity match. The proceeds will go towards providing targeted aid to children.
