Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights Anna Kuznetsova took part in the opening of the Regular People: Education and Integration of People with Down Syndrome national research conference.
Anna Kuznetsova addressed the participants, organisers and guests of the conference with a brief welcoming speech. She noted the importance of an active dialogue between the public, the Government and the parent community for achieving the goals of specialised education.
Ms Kuznetsova announced that the Commissioner’s office would soon open public councils.
The Regular People: Education and Integration of People with Down Syndrome national research conference is taking place in Moscow on September 28–29.
