Vladimir Putin had a working meeting with head of the Russian Federal Medical-Biological Agency Vladimir Uyba.
Mr Uyba told the President about the system for monitoring key public health indicators. The meeting addressed issues of modernising blood banks and amending blood donation legislation.
In addition, the discussion tackled the issue of medical-biological support for the sport of records, particularly the creation of a multidisciplinary laboratory for one-on-one work with athletes.
