The message reads, in part:

“This year for the first time Russia is hosting this representative international forum that is invariably distinguished by its topical and intensive agenda and distinguished participants. I believe this is recognition of our country’s outstanding achievements in medicine and the professional competence of our specialists.

I am sure the 26^th Meeting of the Asian Society for Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery will become a major event in the international medical community, will promote the exchange of professional experience and best practices, primarily in high-tech diagnostic and treatment methods, and bolster international cooperation in such a vital area as healthcare.”
