Vladimir Putin congratulated the staff of the Priorov National Medical Research Centre of Traumatology and Orthopedics (CITO) of the Russian Ministry of Healthcare on its 100th anniversary.
The message reads, in part:
“The anniversary of the legendary CITO is a remarkable event for your team, for the medical community and for the tens of thousands of patients whom you have brought back to active life. You can rightfully be proud of the glorious pages of the Centre’s history and the wonderful traditions of mercy and selfless devotion laid down by your predecessors.
It is important that your team goes beyond what has been achieved, prioritising the development of diagnostic and treatment facilities and the development and implementation of advanced methods and technologies, which in many respects are unparalleled in the world.
I am sure that your experience, skills, sensitivity and responsiveness will allow you to continue to work with dignity, and most importantly, to help people.”
