Vladimir Putin sent greetings to participants, guests and organisers of the 6th International Forum of Oncology and Radiotherapy For Life.
The message reads, in part:
“Your traditional forum is truly unique and invariably brings together prominent researchers, medical doctors, pharmaceutical manufacturers, healthcare organisers and representatives of authorities from many countries. This integrated interdisciplinary approach and the meeting’s packed programme have an important practical value and allow discussions to take place at a high expert level on the key issues of improving the system of cancer care, prevention, timely diagnosis of diseases and their effective treatment.
I am sure the forum will be held in a creative and business-like atmosphere and will provide you with an excellent opportunity to communicate with your colleagues from Russia and other countries, to exchange experience, to get acquainted with the latest achievements of fundamental research and technological progress and, of course, to identify prospects and ways of improving cancer treatment which is one of the most important areas of domestic and international research and medicine.”
