Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation.
The federal law obligates foreigners seeking to obtain a work patent in the Russian Federation to prove and certify they are not suffering from drug addiction or have not used narcotic or psychotropic substances without prescription. Certification includes a medical examination with chemicotoxicological tests to detect presence or prove absence of narcotic or psychotropic substances or their metabolites in a human body.
