Vladimir Putin signed a list of instructions following a meeting with Government members on May 27, 2015.
Instructions to the Government concern implementation of a programme of priority measures to ensure sustainable economic development and social stability in 2015, and also healthcare matters.
The Government and the regional executive authorities have been jointly instructed to analyse causes of increased mortality over the first quarter of 2015, and, based on the conclusions, draft and approve additional measures to bring down the mortality rate.
