The President signed the Federal Law On Amendments to Article 2381 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The Federal Law is aimed at increasing the effectiveness of counteracting the circulation of counterfeit, substandard and unregistered medicine, medical devices and counterfeit dietary supplements.
For these purposes, the amendments provide for increased liability for performing the specified act using the media or information and telecommunication networks, including the internet.
