President of the World Taekwondo Federation Dr Chungwon Choue presented Vladimir Putin with the belt and diploma conferring on him an honorary 9th dan in the Korean traditional martial art of taekwondo.
Mr Putin thanked Dr Choue for the honorary award and for his contribution to promoting taekwondo around the world.
The President also told him about the World Combat Games, which took place recently in St Petersburg.
