Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to Viktor Ahn, Vladimir Grigoryev, Semyon Elistratov and Ruslan Zakharov, 5000m short track relay champions at the XXII 2014 Olympic Winter Games.
The message reads, in part:
“You completed a strenuous programme of short track races on an excellent, victorious note. You withstood the battle of wills, showed the highest level of mastery, and acted as a true, unified, unstoppable team. Thanks to you, the spectators at the Iceberg Skating Palace were celebrating in full force.”
