Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to Alexandra Frantseva, gold medallist in the visually impaired slalom at the XI Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi.
The message reads, in part:
“You had an excellent performance in Sochi, winning a full set of medals. You have clearly shown through your success that athletic fortune favours only the most talented, dedicated and strong-willed athletes.”
