Vladimir Putin sent a telegram of congratulations to Valery Redkozubov, bronze medallist in the super giant slalom event among visually impaired athletes at the Sochi 2014 Paralympics.
The message reads, in part:
“Taking the bronze in the giant slalom, you have really made the day of your coaches, mentors and all Russian fans. You have proved your excellent qualities as an athlete, confidence in yourself, your abilities and potential.”
