Vladimir Putin will visit the National Children’s Sport and Health Centre in Sochi on October 11, while on a working visit to the city. The centre was established at Mr Putin’s initiative in March 2013.
The centre welcomed its first group of young athletes on July 1, 2014. It offers sports and education training to gifted children aged 10–16, to form a future national talent pool for Winter Olympic sports.
