Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to participants in the 2015 World Fencing Championships taking place in Moscow.
The President said, in particular, in his message:
“Once again, athletes from the countries that make up the world’s fencing elite – the acknowledged greats and talented young sportspeople – have come to Russia. The audiences can be sure of seeing intense duels, a fair fight, and unforgettable moments of victory and triumph.
I am sure that the competition will attract attention from specialists and fans of fencing, and will help to popularise this enthralling sport and promote the values of a healthy and active lifestyle, especially among young people.”
