Vladimir Putin congratulated Alexei Mishin, Merited Master of Sports of the USSR, Merited Coach of the USSR and Russia, on his 75th birthday.
The congratulatory message reads, in part:
“We know you as a great figure skater who won prizes at the most prestigious international tournaments and as an outstanding coach and mentor, who has brought up a range of stars of the highest level.
We appreciate your long fruitful work for the benefit of national sport and your endless dedication to your favourite cause.”
Among Alexei Mishin’s students are world and Olympic champions.
