Vladimir Putin sent a message of congratulations to Margarita Mamun, Olympic champion and winner of the rhythmic gymnastics individual all-around competition at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The message reads, in part:
“Thanks to your talent, mastery and many years of training with experienced coaches, you have achieved a true triumph and have befittingly continued the best traditions of our rhythmic gymnastics masters.
I wish you good health, good luck and, of course, new sports victories under the colours of the Russian flag.”
