Vladimir Putin congratulated members of the Russia national men’s biathlon team Anton Babikov, Alexei Volkov, Maxim Tsvetkov, and Anton Shipulin on their victory in the 4x7.5 kilometre relay event at the biathlon world championship in Austria.
The message reads, in part:
“You put on a magnificent performance in this event, demonstrating your fighting character, willpower and outstanding skill. You earned this place at the top of the victory podium.
Your convincing and genuinely beautiful victory was clear evidence of the national biathlon school’s great potential and excellent traditions”.
