The President approved a list of instructions following a March 1, 2017, meeting on the preparation and holding of the 2019 Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk.
The Russian Government was instructed to approve a comprehensive programme of security measures for the preparation and holding of the 2019 Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk and to approve a Universiade legacy programme.
The Government was also instructed to submit to the Presidential Council for the Development of Physical Culture and Sport a draft set of measures to implement the National Anti-Doping Action Plan in Russian Sport adopted by the Independent Public Anti-Doping Commission.
Individual instructions were issued to the Russian Government together with the Krasnoyarsk Territory Government, the Basic Element Holding and Russian Railways.
The Krasnoyarsk Territory Government is to take measures to clear the backlog of work concerning the design, construction, renovation and overhaul of facilities necessary for the 2019 Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk.
