On March 2, Vladimir Putin will attend the opening ceremony of the XXIX Winter Universiade. Following the ceremony, the President will meet with members of the FISU Executive Committee (International University Sports Federation).
On March 3, Vladimir Putin will tour the Universiade village and talk with athletes. He is also to attend a sports event.
The XXIX Winter Universiade will be held in Krasnoyarsk on March 2 – 12. Athletes will compete for 76 sets of medals in 11 sports. 34 sporting, transport and medical facilities have been built for the first Winter Universiade in Russia.
