The President signed Federal Law On Amendments to Federal Law On the Preparation For and Hosting of the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 in the Russian Federation and Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation, to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation, and Recognising Certain Provisions of Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation as Void in Connection with the 2020 UEFA European Football Championship.
The Federal Law regulates legal relations in connection with the preparation for and hosting of matches of the 2020 UEFA European Football Championship in St Petersburg, and also defines the legal status and authority of the local organisational structure and UEFA on the territory of the Russian Federation.
