Vladimir Putin congratulated Denis Ablyazin, Artur Dalaloyan, Nikita Nagorny and David Belyavsky on their victory in the team gymnastics event at the XXXII Olympics in Tokyo.
The message reads, in part:
“The team competitions final will stay in our memory owing to the top skills of its participants and their striving to gain the upper hand over their famous rivals.
I would like to note that Russian gymnastics fans waited a quarter of a century for a victory in these competitions, which makes your success all the more striking, significant and befitting.”
