Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants and guests of the nationwide stage of the Russian Sports Competition among Students, 2022/2023 Presidential Competition, held for the Presidential Cup for the second time.
The message reads, in part:
“The well-known Orlyonok has once again gathered talented, energetic and ambitious people, leaders of regional tournaments. The path to the final stage of the competition has not been easy. You have passed challenging qualifications with honour and dignity. I would also like to highlight the hard work of the coaches, teachers and parents who help you achieve success.
With the beginning of the Russian nationwide stage, you once again go to the starting line and your devoted fans hope you will not let them down, demonstrate your theoretical knowledge, creative efforts and physical shape and, most importantly, your heart and team spirit to the full extent. I am confident this will be the case.”
