Dmitry Medvedev congratulated Russia’s national team on their victory in the 2010 FIVB Women's Volleyball World Championship.
The message reads, in part:
“It makes me happy to congratulate you on your triumphant performance at the world championship in Japan.
You won this victory through hard struggle, and displayed true team spirit, excellent sports skills, and strength of character in the final game against the Olympic champion team from Brazil. You defended your champion’s title and once again confirmed the high level of Russia’s volleyball school.
I wish you new achievements and all the very best.”
