Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Amendments to Article 9 of the Federal Law on Organising and Holding the XXII Winter Olympic Games and the XI Paralympic Winter Games in 2014 in Sochi and Developing Sochi as an Alpine Ski and Recreation Resort, and Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation and the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation.
The law regulates the specifics of ticket sales and prices for events and ceremonies at the XXII Winter Olympic Games and the XI Paralympic Winter Games in 2014 in Sochi.
In accordance with the Federal Law, the Government of the Russian Federation shall approve the procedures for ticket sales for Olympic events and ceremonies.
The law stipulates that the ticket prices for Olympic events and ceremonies will be set by the International Olympic Committee and the International Paralympic Committee accordingly.
