Vladimir Putin sent a message to congratulate Alexandra Frantseva on her bronze medal in the downhill skiing event among visually impaired athletes at the XI Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi.
The message reads, in part:
“My sincere congratulations on your bronze medal at the XI Paralympic Winter Games.
You have demonstrated skill, willpower and perseverance in achieving your goal. You outstanding performance brought our team the first medal of the Sochi Paralympics.”
