Vladimir Putin sent a message of congratulations to Stanislav Chokhlayev, silver medallist in the 20km cross-country skiing event in the visually impaired category at the Winter Paralympics.
The President said, in particular, in his message:
“Please accept my sincere congratulations on your successful performance and on winning this silver medal at the XI Winter Paralympics.
This excellent result is convincing proof of your skill, top-level training, and capacity for hard work, and of course it brings joy to your trainers and mentors, friends and family, and all fans throughout Russia.”
