Vladimir Putin sent a message of congratulations to Vladislav Lekomtsev, bronze medallist in the 20km standing cross-country skiing event at the XI Winter Paralympics in Sochi.
The President said, in particular, in his message:
“I congratulate you from all my heart on your successful performance.
Your hard work, skill, and strength of will were the main ingredients of your success and helped add to the gold medal at this Paralympics here in Russia a bronze medal in what is one of the most demanding sports disciplines.”
