Vladimir Putin sent a message of congratulations to Valery Redkozubov, gold medallist in the super combined event among visually impaired athletes at the XI Winter Paralympics in Sochi.
The President said, in particular, in his message:
“You carried our team’s flag at the XI Winter Paralympics opening ceremony. You proved yourself worthy of that great honour and have represented Russia outstandingly in the skiing competitions, both in the slalom and the super combined events.”
