Vladimir Putin singed Federal Law On Amendments to the Federal Law On Organisation and Holding of the XXII Olympic Winter Games and the XI Paralympic Winter Games in 2014 in the city of Sochi, the Development of the City of Sochi as an Alpine Ski and Recreation Resort, and Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation and Article 3 of the Federal Law On Privatisation of State and Municipal Property.
The Federal Law is aimed at creating legal grounds for the exchange of privately owned Olympic facilities of federal importance created in implementing the agreements executed by State Corporation Olympstroy to organise the construction of Olympic facilities of federal importance, for property of the Russian Federation public treasury.
