Dmitry Medvedev emphasised that the issue of providing housing to military personnel must be resolved strictly within the framework of the presidential instructions: personnel discharged from military service must receive housing in 2011 and 2012. At the same time, the problem of providing service housing to military personnel must be resolved in 2012, the President said.
The President visited the home of Russian Air Force Colonel Sergei Fomin, who has received an apartment in the housing complex. Mr Medvedev toured the apartment and asked the new occupants for their opinions on the complex in general and their home in particular.
