Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Amendments to Article 2 of the Federal Law On the Specifics of Performing Obligations Under Loan Agreements (Credit Contracts) by Individuals Called Up for Military Service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation as Part of Mobilisation, Individuals Taking Part in the Special Military Operation, as well as Their Family Members, and On Amendment to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation.
The Federal Law aims to improve the effectiveness of social support measures for the military personnel taking part in the special military operation.
The Federal Law specifies the procedure for repaying debt under a loan agreement contracted for the purchase of residential property using the special-purpose housing loan arrangement in the event that a serviceperson, taking part in the savings and mortgage framework for military personnel, dies on duty during the special military operation or is declared dead by a court.
