Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Amendments to the Federal Law On Bailiffs and to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation.
In particular, the law contemplates additional rights and duties for bailiffs regarding the transfer of foreign citizens and stateless persons subject to compulsory deportation from Russia to special facilities on the basis of a court decision or to a border crossing point based on a similar ruling by the bailiff.
The law amends the Russian Federation Code of Administrative Offences and the federal laws On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation, On Enforcement Proceedings, and On the Police Force in the part concerning the transfer to the Federal Bailiff Service of the function to enforce court decisions on administrative expulsion from Russia of foreign citizens and stateless persons.
